Philippines prayer requests

Jose is off to the Philippines tonight for his first experience of a missions trip! A group of men from various Sovereign Grace churches are going there to build a church. Lord willing he will be back in 10 days. I will miss my hubby, but am so excited that he has this opportunity! A family from our church graciously funded this trip for Jose. What a blessing.
He began his journey this afternoon with a short flight from a small airport in Carlsbad, CA to Los Angeles. It took the same amount of time for me to drive home as it did for him to fly to LA. He's now waiting in LA for his flight to Guam and then he'll fly to Manila, Philippines and from there he'll go on a short flight to Tagbilaran, Philippines (his final destination). In LA he's meeting up with many of the men going; he's the only one from our church on the trip. If everything goes according to the schedule he will arrive in the Tagbilaran airport at 0930 on Saturday, September 15th - so basically he skips Friday. It's a long flight, but he's been on longer.
Anyways, here's some prayer requests:
* Pray for the team leader, Lynn Baird and the construction project manager, Brian Funk as they administrate all that goes on.
* Pray for the construction work : for God's protection on each member of the team as they labor in hot, tropical weather - that they would be kept safe from harm, injury and sickness. Pray for work to proceed well and that weather would not delay progress. Pray for unity of the team-members as they serve and interact with the local folks - that they'd emulate Christ's humility for His glory.
* Pray for the Philippine pastors and members of the church : that God's Spirit would be upon them and they would be freshly encouraged, for faith and boldness to share the gospel, for the gospel to go forth in the community (favor and open hearts), for God to work as they worship and the Word is preached
- Pastors: Fernando Impang, Johnny Saddam, and Jelon Billion
* Pray for the E-Team members and their families : Praise God for his provision for each member to go! Pray for safety as they travel and peace for the time away from family and work; for each person to be encouraged to grow in humility and pursuing God with more passion, to build God's Kingdom through their serving and to be filled with joy, glorifying the Lord.

Thanks in advance for any and all prayers! I know God is hearing and will answer! I hope to give some updates, if not I hope Jose can post about his experience when he comes back.
